Core Principles for Ju-te jutsu Open-Hand Flow Self-Defense

-Ju (Gentle/Yielding): Blend with and redirect the attacker’s momentum instead of opposing it directly.
-Flow and Spirals (Ashisabaki / Chan Ssu Jin): Use circular footwork, hip rotation, and spiraling arm motions to unbalance the opponent.
-Ki and Intent: Cultivate internal energy through relaxation (song) and focused tension (kime) in a “relax-snap-relax” cycle. Sensitivity drills (kanshu) build tactile awareness.
-Kamae (Rooted Stance): Feet shoulder-width, knees softly bent, weight balanced on balls of feet, spine aligned, hands relaxed/ready. Enables quick, stable movement.

-Snapping Action (Fajin/Fa Li): Coil in relaxation, release explosive intent briefly on contact (e.g., palm strike or twist), then flow back to readiness. This generates power without excessive muscle force.
